I’m a planner. Packing lists, touring plans, and all the little pieces of a vacation are exciting for me. I’m one of those people who feels like you’re not doing Disney right unless you understand the basics of how the system works. If you don’t know the basics, you’ll waste precious time in the park trying to figure it out.
Before we went on our honeymoon in 2014, my husband was nervous about my zealous planning. I assured him that it was a flexible plan built for us to minimize waits and maximize fun. We had a great time even though it was hot and crowded mid-summer. We rarely waited more than 15 minutes for any rides.
I’ve spent hours planning for myself so I’m sharing some of my favorites rides, experiences, packing lists, what I carry into the parks, and the whole Disney World vacation experience. These are the things I’ve done to save time and money. We have yet to make a trip with our toddler so everything is based on our experiences as just a couple but most of the information should be universal.
